National States Insurance Company
National States Insurance Company was formerly known as American Independence Life Insurance Company. The company was founded in 1964 and headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. The Company provides life insurance and health products for individuals and families and it offers Medicare supplement products, whole life plans, limited return of premium plans, and accident products. The company provides its products in some parts of United States like Alabama, the Mississippi, and North Dakota. Their goal is to give exceptional products and service.
What National States Insurance Company Offer?
National States Insurance Company offers Medicare Supplemental Insurance in many states. These plans increase and complement Medicare Insurance by filling in the gaps left by the Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B. National States Medicare Supplements are consistent and reliable like all other Supplemental Insurance Companies. Since then, they are allowed to offer any of the Plans A-L but must at least offer Medicare Supplemental Insurance Plan A if they desire to offer Medigap Insurance. National States offered primarily long-term care and Medicare Supplement policies. To add up, the company also wrote life, accident and health insurance policies. According to its 2009 annual report, National States sold policies or had licenses to advertise and sell them in 37 states.
Currently, NSI is having its rehabilitation. The DIFP director requests the circuit court for approval and consent to put the company in rehabilitation. In April 1, 2010, the company was placed into Rehabilitation based on its risky conditions but now they are on the progress in coping up. Rehabilitation is one of the lawful steps taken by the court to guard and protect policyholders by preserving the company’s assets. The rehabilitator can accomplish this by continuing to collect premium payments from existing policyholders, managing & supervising assets, including the sale of those assets, if right & appropriate, seeking a corporation or company of which to merge, as appropriate, and/or Seeking a business partner to strengthen or toughen the company through capital investments, as appropriate.
The National states Insurance Company have embraced change and simplified their processes to meet your requirements at all times. Simplicity is now part of their progressive stance. And that starts with their new process and features. It is a small part of the many changes that they have to put into action, to provide their clients with prompt and hassle free services in the simplest way.
